Creighton Island, Georgia
We went to Ashford Castle and these two men were talking and I only got one of them on video tape. But the jist of the conversation is that some one committed a crime- I could not figure out what the charge was- but this man was called for what we label as "jury duty". They are laughing at the criminal or crime and for the fact that he "pleaded out" and the man I taped did not have to spend the day on jury duty but got to go fishing instead.
June started another Creighton Quilt. We decided this was a Windmill pattern. She cut it and got some of the squares going while she was here.
Frank worked on the outside of this sewing machine. It was pretty impressive stuff to see him restore the finish and clean it up.
The tree in the back yard has some interesting shadows and shapes.
This was the coolest thing. Victor made a model house of Creighton. Details like the gas tanks, coolers on the porch, pigs in the yard, and donkeys at the steps-if I can get the right light-you won't be able to tell if it is the model or the real thing.
Dave and Sandi had their friend Ali down. We rode to the north end one day and found Alli the gator in the middle of the road. Sandi wanted to catch it and return it to the water. But seeing as how the alligator was on an island =we convinced her to let nature take its course.
