Last Voyage of the Blue Moon

Creighton on a frosty morning

The dock was covered with frost when we came over and it was slick. Here the sun has melted some of the frost.
Sunset from the front yard.

Another sunset. Cleaned up some on my computer and I have 200 pictures of the sunset/sunrise. Time to quit taking pictures and just enjoy.

The cows go out into the mash and eat. People frequently comment on it because it is unusual to see cows in the marsh.. I just fret about them getting stuck in the mud.

Victor made toilet paper holders from some of the cedar left over from the outhouses. They are shaped as a pig's head and look great in the outhouse!

The marsh at sunset.

Frost on the dock with the imprints from our shoes.

Frost on the grass in the field. It is so rare here many call it snow.

The sun has melted patches so it is easy to see the contrast.

This is about the time that Annie needed to have the growth on her side removed. She was very suspicious and uncooperative about being "contained" for the examination.

Moonlight and Sunrise

June took these pictures of the moon setting and the sun rising.

Blackwell's come off of Creighton

The boat was loaded on Creighton and coming to the mainland.

Lining the boat up with the dock.

Putting the ramp down to the dock.
Gentlemen, start your engines.

Up and over to the dock (notice that no one got wet).

And away we go!!! How cool is that??

Bunko Weekend on Creighton

The weather was perfect. My friends came over on Friday, spent the night and we had a wonderful time!!

My friend Lee decided to kiss hog on Creighton. She is still my friend even though kissing a hog is weird!!

Here are all of my Bunko friends that came and spent the night on Creighton. We had a Low Country Boil on Friday night and then after a biscuit breakfast we made a trip to the North End. We had to hurry back for the Georgia/Kentucky game. Guess who we wanted to win???

Of course, there had to be an adventure on the way to the North End the road was blocked-but we took care of that!!!

The road to adventure for the North End.We saw a raccoon trying to hide from us!! The gator hole at the end of the dungeon-it now has water!!

Here is one of the trees near the North End Pasture.

More trees near the North End.

The dragon tree. Check out the base of the tree on the left-we think it looks like a dragon.

We made new friends!!

October on Creighton

Here is the winter garden-Victor and June put it in for us.
Tree roots and shadows. I saw a raccoon making his way among them, but I turned on the camera and the noise frightened him away.

The gator hole between the house and hunt camp now has some water in it!!!

Frank and Victor were tying knots while June was sewing on the Windmill Quilt.
