June entered the first quilt she made in the county fair!!

She won an award but at the moment my memory fails me.
Frank advised her to describe them as "green" quilts as it did not take electricity to make them-well except for the ironing part!!!

Ironing the seams flat-this is the NOT GREEN part!!
Pinning the 3 layers together-the top, the batting, and the bottom-getting them lined up straight was a real trick!!!
